Community Involvement
We Believe Community Matters.
We love our friends and neighbors in the Puyallup area! Without community, Farmers Insurance wouldn’t exist – our two founders, John and Thomas, came from paint contracting and dairy farming backgrounds. We strive to emulate that “small-town” feel and to serve our Puyallup community to the best of our ability. We couldn’t make it without you!
Rotary Club of Puyallup
Brad is a proud member of the Puyallup Rotary. We support the community in a variety of local, regional, and international programs.
Puyallup Main Street Association
The Puyallup Main Street Association is focused on retaining hometown, friendly charm while creating a downtown business district that is inviting, healthy and thriving.
Downtown Puyallup is a family-oriented place where business owners and shoppers are on a first-name basis. We want a downtown that everyone can feel proud of and show off to visitors. We believe a successful business district should be the kind of place where people can feel safe and earn a living while having fun and making memories that last.
The Puyallup Historical Society
Part of the Pierce County Heritage League, the main focus of the Puyallup Historical Society (formerly the Ezra Meeker Historical Society) is restoring and curating Meeker Mansion which is also its headquarters. The mansion was acquired in 1970 and has since been used to share the valuable history of the Puyallup area.
“I have always received exemplary service from the Farmers team. Whether it has been directly from my agent (Brad Chilcott) and his associates (Karen and Kayce), claim services, roadside assistance, etc., all facets of Farmers have been wonderful to do business with. Brad, Karen, and Kayce always provide a personalized service experience and are genuinely concerned for their clients.
Farmers rates seem reasonable and competitive, and having a knowledgeable forum of experts to turn to with questions, concerns, or claims far outweighs any marginal potential savings of going with a cut-rate insurance provider that merely gives you an 800 number to call with concerns.“
